Ambeon Capital PLC (Public Limited Company) has partnered with Chennai-based Sincere Syndication and Corporate Services LLP (Limited Liability Partnership) and Avyukthi Consulting and Advisory Services LLP to strengthen cross-border investment opportunities between India and Sri Lanka.
The companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish collaborative investment desks in Colombo and Chennai, creating a structured platform for investors and businesses exploring opportunities across the two markets.
The partnership will facilitate cross-border capital across several investment segments, including listed equities, private equity and credit, real estate and fixed income.
The initiative will also support mergers and acquisitions (M&A), business partnerships, deal origination and investor introductions, giving companies and investors a structured route to explore opportunities between India and Sri Lanka.
Under the arrangement, the Colombo investment desk will be hosted by Ambeon Capital or one of its affiliates. The desk will focus on facilitating investments into India and other agreed markets while identifying investment opportunities originating in Sri Lanka. The Chennai desk will be hosted by Sincere Syndication, while Avyukthi Consulting and Advisory Services will provide specialist support covering tax, regulatory matters, transaction structuring, due diligence and transaction support.
“This partnership creates a practical bridge between two complementary markets. By combining Ambeon’s on-the-ground presence and deal flow in Sri Lanka with Sincere Syndication’s investor network and Avyukthi’s structuring capability, we can meaningfully improve the flow of capital and ideas in both directions,” said Dr. Sajeeva Narangoda, Group CEO, Ambeon Capital PLC.
The collaboration also includes plans to launch a dedicated Sri Lanka-focused fund in partnership with Sincere Syndication’s Bharat Transformation Fund. The proposed fund is expected to provide a structured investment route into listed and private Sri Lankan companies.
Sincere Syndication’s Bharat Transformation Fund focuses on businesses operating in areas such as advanced manufacturing, defence and aerospace, deep technology, specialty healthcare and medical devices. The proposed Sri Lanka-focused fund could therefore create another channel for investors seeking exposure to businesses in the country.
The partnership also brings specialist advisory capabilities into the cross-border investment process. Avyukthi Consulting and Advisory Services will support transactions involving tax, regulatory and structuring requirements. Its expertise is particularly relevant to M&A transactions, investment structuring and other cross-border opportunities where companies and investors need guidance across different jurisdictions.
“Our role is to help de-risk and accelerate those processes so that good investment ideas can move from discussion to execution more efficiently,” said Ramesh R. , Avyukthi Consulting & Advisory Services LLP.
The new investment desks are expected to support deal screening, research coordination, investor introductions, co-investment opportunities and referrals. The initiative is intended to make it easier for investors and businesses to identify potential opportunities, connect with relevant stakeholders and progress suitable transactions.
Sincere Syndication is a Chennai-based investment and advisory firm involved in investment opportunities and strategic advisory services. Avyukthi Consulting and Advisory Services brings expertise in areas including mergers and acquisitions, investment structuring, strategic planning, tax and cross-border advisory.
For Ambeon Capital, the partnership provides an opportunity to strengthen its connections with Indian investors and businesses while expanding the channels through which Sri Lankan opportunities can reach international capital. For the Chennai-based firms, the collaboration creates a platform to explore investment and advisory opportunities connected to Sri Lanka.
The India-Sri Lanka investment desks are therefore positioned as a mechanism for improving cross-border connectivity across investment, consulting, corporate partnerships and M&A. By combining local market knowledge, investor networks and transaction advisory capabilities, the three firms aim to develop a more organized pipeline for investment opportunities between the two countries.
