Gujarat is seeking long-term technology partnerships with global companies as the state looks to strengthen its position as a hub for innovation, advanced manufacturing, and emerging technologies ahead of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2027.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel is leading a state delegation in the United States, where he has held meetings with senior executives from global technology companies and institutions.
The discussions have focused on opportunities across semiconductors, artificial intelligence, deep technology, cybersecurity, HealthTech, EdTech, gaming, and advanced manufacturing.
Rather than focusing only on attracting investment, Patel is encouraging global companies to view Gujarat as a long-term strategic technology partner. The state is seeking collaboration in areas including research and development, technology innovation, supply-chain development, skills, and advanced industrial capabilities.
During meetings in San Francisco, Patel engaged with more than 100 technology and business leaders, presenting Gujarat's infrastructure, policy environment, industrial capabilities, and opportunities in emerging technology sectors.
The state is particularly highlighting its growing opportunities in semiconductor manufacturing, artificial intelligence, deep technology, and cybersecurity. The outreach is also intended to encourage global companies to explore partnerships that can support innovation and technology development in Gujarat.
Patel emphasized the importance of moving beyond traditional investment-led relationships toward long-term cooperation that can create stronger technology ecosystems.
