RITES Signs Strategic MoU with NABCONS for Joint Projects

RITES Limited, a leading government-owned infrastructure consultancy, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NABARD Consultancy Services (NABCONS), a subsidiary of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). This new partnership aims to work together on infrastructure and rural development projects both in India and overseas.

NABCONS will offer its experience in agriculture, rural development, and natural resource management. RITES will bring its skills in infrastructure planning, engineering, and project execution across transport, urban development, and sustainable systems.

The two organisations will jointly provide consultancy and project management services in key areas such as rural and urban infrastructure, smart cities, green mobility, agri-logistics, digital public services, water and irrigation, and climate-resilient development. They also plan to explore international projects supported by global banks and funding agencies.

This partnership is expected to support inclusive and sustainable growth by combining the strengths of both organisations. With this step, RITES continues its mission to contribute to India’s development journey, especially in rural and semi-urban areas.
