The Indian government has stepped in to address these challenges by strengthened its cybersecurity framework by enhancing the role of CERT-In, issuing regular security advisories, and mandating timely reporting of cyber incidents. 

There has also been an increase in Organizational spend on cloud security, zero-trust architectures, and employee awareness programs to improve resilience against evolving threats. However, significant challenges remain, including a shortage of skilled cybersecurity professionals, uneven cybersecurity maturity across organizations, and the emergence of AI-powered cyberattacks. 

Going forward as India's digital transformation accelerates, building a strong cybersecurity ecosystem through collaboration between government, industry, and academia will be essential. Strengthening cyber resilience is no longer just a technical priority but a fundamental requirement for protecting economic growth, critical infrastructure, and public trust in the country's digital future.
