EY Consulting Revenue Hits $17.4 Billion in FY26

EY reported US$17.4 billion in global consulting revenue for the financial year ended June 2026, marking 4.4% growth in local currency compared with the previous year.

The results highlight continued demand for consulting services as businesses invest in artificial intelligence (AI), technology adoption and business transformation.

According to EY's announcement published on October 8, 2026, the professional services firm recorded total global revenue of US$57 billion in FY26, an increase of 4.7% in local currency.

The total includes revenue from consulting, assurance, tax and strategy and transactions.

AI Services Sales Increase 49%

Artificial intelligence was a significant growth area for EY during the financial year. The company reported a 49% increase in sales from AI services, reflecting growing demand from organizations seeking to integrate AI into their business operations.

As companies move beyond initial AI experiments, consulting firms are increasingly being asked to help them implement technology, redesign workflows and connect digital investments with business objectives.

“Clients are moving from experimenting with AI to redesigning how their businesses operate.” - Janet Truncale, EY Global Chair and CEO

The shift highlights how AI consulting is expanding beyond technology implementation to include operating-model changes, workforce preparation and broader business transformation.

EY-Parthenon Records 7.4% Growth

EY-Parthenon, EY's strategy and transactions business, generated US$6.8 billion in revenue, representing 7.4% growth in local currency.

The firm's tax service line recorded US$13.8 billion in revenue, increasing 6%, while assurance revenue reached US$18.9 billion, up 3%. These results show that growth extended across EY's major service lines, with EY-Parthenon recording a higher growth rate than the other service lines listed.

The figures also illustrate the range of services through which large professional services firms support clients, from strategic decisions and transactions to tax compliance, assurance and consulting-led transformation.

Consulting Firms Adapt to Changing Client Needs

EY's FY26 results reflect the growing importance of technology-enabled transformation in the global consulting market. Organizations are seeking support not only to select new technologies but also to integrate them into existing operations, build employee capabilities and manage organizational change.

For consulting firms, this creates opportunities to combine strategic advice, technology expertise and industry knowledge. The reported increase in EY's AI services sales illustrates how client demand is evolving as businesses look for practical ways to apply AI at scale.

The reported revenue figures cover EY's global operations and should not be interpreted as consulting revenue from India alone. They provide a global view of the firm's performance during the financial year ended June 2026.
