Andersen is strengthening its global consulting and professional services platform through two strategic acquisitions in the United Kingdom and the United States. The firm has announced the acquisition of UK Andersen, LLP, a tax firm in Great Britain, and SPR Consulting, a U.S.-based technology and digital transformation consultancy

The two acquisitions are expected to contribute approximately $60 million in annualized revenue. They also bring Andersen's total number of acquisitions announced in 2026 to 16 transactions, representing approximately $134 million in annualized revenue.

Andersen Expands Its Consulting Capabilities

The acquisition of UK Andersen strengthens Andersen's presence in the United Kingdom and adds to its international tax capabilities. The UK remains an important market for professional services, particularly for businesses operating across borders.

The acquisition of SPR Consulting adds technology and digital transformation capabilities to Andersen's platform. SPR specializes in areas including artificial intelligence, custom software development, data and cloud technologies.

Together, the two acquisitions strengthen Andersen's position across both traditional professional services and technology-led consulting.

“These acquisitions strengthen two important pillars of Andersen’s long-term growth strategy.” — Mark L. Vorsatz, Chairman and CEO, Andersen Group Inc.

Why This Consulting M&A Matters

The transactions highlight how consulting firms are increasingly using M&A to expand capabilities, enter strategic markets and respond to changing client needs.

For Andersen, SPR Consulting's technology expertise is particularly relevant as businesses increase investment in AI, cloud computing, data and digital transformation. Adding these capabilities can help Andersen provide clients with a broader range of technology and business advisory services.

The UK Andersen acquisition, meanwhile, strengthens Andersen's tax and professional services presence in a major international business market.

The latest deals are part of Andersen's wider acquisition strategy. Earlier in August, the firm announced six acquisitions across Mexico and the United States, including five U.S.-based Andersen Consulting firms. Those transactions were expected to add approximately $34.5 million in annualized revenue.

With the latest two acquisitions, Andersen's 2026 M&A activity reflects a strategy focused on combining geographic expansion with specialized consulting and technology capabilities.

The acquisitions of UK Andersen and SPR Consulting are expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.

For the wider consulting industry, the deal shows how M&A is becoming an important way for professional services firms to acquire specialized expertise and build capabilities in high-growth areas such as AI and digital transformation.
